How quickly can I get a website?

|

It all depends on you! If you’ve decided which images you want, written all your content and promptly approve each of the 3 sign-off stages, then we could get your website live in under a week.

Does Update Centre work on both PCs and Macs?
|
|
|

Yes. All our websites can be viewed from any current browser. However, to use Update Centre, we recommend Internet Explorer or Firefox for PCs and Safari or Firefox for Macs.

What are webpoints?
|
|
|
|
They’re a cunning way of working out what your website will cost. Read through our Creating Your Website guide to see the different options you can have and the number of WebPoints needed for each one. Total them up then choose the Website Package with at least that number of WebPoints.

Do I have to update the website myself?
|
|
|
|
We’ve created Update Centre to make it easy for you to do it yourself, but you don’t have to. If you’d like us to update your site for you, we can do it at our usual hourly artwork rate.

Can I make changes to my master page layout once I’ve approved it?
|
|
|
|
Only if you want us to start again. The master page layout is fundamental to the design, so we can’t start coding your site until you’re happy with this layout. If you change it later, there will be some additional charges and delays.

I’ve seen cool sites where images dim the screen and enlarge. Can you do them?

Can I put video on my site?

Upload your videos to YouTube and we can embed them on your site.

How should I supply text and images to you?
|

We prefer the text to be in Word format and the images saved as JPEGs. We can work with just about any format though, so if you’ve already got them in a different format ask us for advice.

How can I find out how my website performs?

You get free access to your website statistics through Update Centre. We can also set up your site for use through Google Analytics which gives you a huge amount of detail with lots of pretty graphs.
